Looking over my last blog, a WHOLE YEAR AGO! I realized that I sound so high and mighty and so condescending that it is ridiculous!
Not really. Sometimes, a lot of times, I am so dumb. God has to really grab me and tell me that I need Him, and that is all that is going to work in a Christian's life. He speaks gently, though. He shares how I have to forgive, even if I can't forget. I can do no less.... even if I scream, I WANT TO BE ANGRY FROM NOW TO ETERNITY!
I can't get away with that.
My father-in law has alzheimer's, as I have previously written, and sometimes I get very ANGRY at him!
He is grouchy, mean, and of course, can't reason things out well. He can't comprehend the meaning of
of our statements, he is hard of hearing, doesn't want to wear his hearing aides,
I live with bipolar disorder, a father-in-law with Alzheimers, and my husband and 17 year old daughter with emotional needs such as my own. Reconciling this with my faith in Jesus Christ is sometimes difficult, but God is great, full of mercy and love.

Coulda woulda shoulda
What is it like to waste time? Everyone will give a different answer. Can time be wasted? I guess everyone who lost a loved one would say yes. It seems like there would have been so much more to share with that one. More time, more effort, more love....
But in God's time- if we follow His will and use His time wisely we will have no regrets. Are all perfect? No. Not me, anyway!
God has even set us in this place and time. This era, this family, this economy, this country.
How do you feel when you waste time? Well, if you are like me, you would say you don't feel much of anything! You've spent time spacing out, doing whatever you want- automatic behaviors.
I'm not suggesting we sit still or work hard just to say we are not wasting time. Just be more aware of it. God gave us the time we have. Use it wisely.
