God speaks today! Just read Hebrews 1. Long ago, before Christ, God spoke in various times and in various ways by the prophets. Essentially, He spoke off and on.
Now- He speaks by HIS SON. All of His sayings, and those things written by those who heard Him, speak to us today. Wonder what God says? Read the New Testament: He will speak to YOU!
I live with bipolar disorder, a father-in-law with Alzheimers, and my husband and 17 year old daughter with emotional needs such as my own. Reconciling this with my faith in Jesus Christ is sometimes difficult, but God is great, full of mercy and love.

time to trust
Faith is to be lived out. How difficult faith is, is up to me. It is not difficult when I trust Christ to take care of everything. "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." I look for this light burden and I yearn to trust. I have had a difficult couple of weeks with my adult children. Their choices are grievous to me, and I wonder what I have done wrong. However, they have free will, and their choices are not mine. I know they bear their own responsibility toward Christ. I pray for them and our entire family.
I identify with those who are grief-stricken over anything that shows itself in rebellion to Christ and His word.
Blog me and share. I will respond, and maybe we can encourage each other.

I'm still finding out how blogging works. It takes me awhile!
I just want to say that I have bipolar disorder and many physical ailments. If you just want to talk about it, post a comment!
I also have a son with Asperger Syndrome. He is 23 now and doing well. Many of his symptoms have resolved with age. Want to share your experience? Comment!
